Hello, come on in and make yourself at home! I’m Hannah and for the last eight years I’ve been working as a Northamptonshire wedding photographer. Over the years I’ve had the joy of visiting most of the venues across the county, gotten to know a lot of the faces that work in them and of course made friends with the suppliers who work here week in week out.

The last eight years have taught me that wedding photography is so much more than just knowing how to operate a camera, and having worked in Northamptonshire for such a long time I have a wonderful familiarity with the venues which I know like the back of my hand, yet I’m always seeking something new and creative even in my most frequented venues.

My photography style is vibrant, raw and honest. I love to people watch and I’m also an awful dancer. You can find out more about me here.

SOME OF THE BEST WEDDING VENUES IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

Here in Northamptonshire we’re blessed with such a diverse range of wedding venues from pubs, converted churches in the centre of town, stately homes steeped in history and rustic old barns full of character set in the gentle rolling countryside of Northamptonshire, each providing you with a unique backdrop for your wedding photos.

Whether you’re looking for a venue that’s got a brilliant in house wedding caterer, accommodation for a large number of guests to stay or an empty space to erect a marquee or tipi  to decorate in your own unique style with no corkage for your drinks, Northamptonshire really does offer it all.

MULTI AWARD WINNING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Perhaps you’ve found the perfect wedding venue and you’re now looking for your wedding photographer; you can find a really detailed guide about how to choose your wedding photographer here. However, if like me you enjoy a TLDR, my top five tips would be

1. Really have a good dig around a photographer’s website and social media. Can you see a broad range of weddings on them or are the same couple coming up time and time again?

2. Are they able to show you full galleries from relevant weddings?

3. Be clear what their price includes

4. Have you gained a really good sense of their editing style?

5. Be prepared to wiggle your budget if your favourite photographer is a little more expensive than you’d allowed; you don’t get to go back and redo your day so it’s really important that your photos are perfect.

I’m lucky enough to have photographed over 300 weddings and in that time have picked up a number of awards including Four Counties Wedding Photographer of the Year, This is Reportage Awards and Muddy Stilettos Best Photographer in Northamptonshire. I was also twice nominated for Rangefinder Magazine’s 30 Rising Stars which is prestigious worldwide competition with only 300 wedding photographer nominated each year.
