Blencowe Hall, much like it’s sister properties (including my favourite Hause Hall) is just an incredible setting for a wedding. Situated in the Eden Valley here in Cumbria is boasts views accross the Lake District, the Howgills and the Pennines, and is steeped in history. Offering accommodation for around 50 guests, with the Byre for an indoor ceremony and the wedding breakfast, it means couples can really make a weekend of it with their nearest and dearest, which is exactly what Rebecca and Lawrence did! Granted, they hadn’t planned for one uninvited guest, Storm Kathleen but the weather always makes for a memorable story and of course, a great photo and I absolutely adored their windy wedding at Blencowe Hall.
