Goodness me, it seems like weeks and weeks since I last blogged! I bumped into Stevie and Cory this morning so it seems pretty appropriate to share some photographs of their amazing wedding at Barton Hall last month.

I actually first met Stevie at the opticians where she works when I was getting my eyes tested – she even helped me choose my new frames – I knew instantly that we’d get along really well and these feelings were cemented when I shot the two of them at their engagement shoot in May. A vintage affair with pretty florals was the name of the game, and their guests really were treated to a gorgeous day; not only was the weather divine and the company exquisite, we enjoyed a piper, Cory’s dad’s camper van, Mr Whippies and an evening of jam packed dance floor action from fabulous band, The Smarties, all in perfect location for a gorgeous wedding, Barton Hall in Kettering.

What I love most about Stevie and Cory is how kind hearted, sweet and genuine they both are. I’ve never known a bride as nervous as Stevie and I love her all the more for it. The feelings they have for each other are so evident for everyone to see and they are surrounded by the most wonderful guests who treated me like another family member all day and just let me get on with my thing.

You two, it was lovely to bump into you today, thanks so much for letting me be part of your absolutely fabulous day. Bank Holiday means no work tomorrow, grab your tipple of choice and check this one out.
