Rob & Nick | No 6 St Chad’s Place wedding

Photography, Wedding photography

WHERE DO I BEGIN?! A day that threw tradition and convention out of the window, a day that celebrated everything about the two of them, a day where love poured out of everyone and everything. I knew when Nick emailed me last year telling me the details of his and Rob’s fabulous plans for their Islington Town Hall and 6 St Chad’s Place wedding that it was going to be incredible and they truly didn’t disappoint. It was really clear from our early conversations that while photography was really important to Rob and Nick and they had a really strong vision about what they wanted from their photographs, they also didn’t want their photography to interfere with their plans for the day…

With that in mind, the majority of their portraits took place in the morning, their family gathered for their group shots before having lunch together at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and heading to the ceremony and after the wedding ceremony they took all their guests by bus to 6 St Chads Place meant that all their guests were in once place together making the last few group photographs super easy to coordinate. The atmosphere of the day was so chilled out that it meant popping out for just a few minutes a couple of times later on in the evening was completely possible… It was such a lovely way to work.

So here we have it. Rob and Nick’s City slick industrial chic wedding, embracing iconic skyline, fabulous architecture and oodles of personality, proving that doing it your way is what its alllllll about.  Huge love to gorgeous Johnny Dent for second shooting for me on this one. Make a pot of tea, suck up all the gorgeous details and feel the love. Rob and Nick it was such a joy and a complete honour to be part of your unforgettable day.
