The Old Cow Shed at Poplars Farm is an effortlessly cool. rustic venue for a wedding celebration. Located in a picturesque countryside near Melton Mowbray, the venue offers a unique and relaxed atmosphere for couples and their guests. The venue offers all the character you’d expect from a barn wedding venue… but cooler, with hand painted murals, neon signs, an al fresco (but weather proof!) dining option, and chic accommodation options for couples and their guests. It’s not hard to see why couples would want an Old Cow Shed wedding!
Although not my first visit to the Old Cow Shed, Frankie and Rob were my first booking there and boy was it a mega day. I loved their dried flowers and travel inspired tables scapes (can we walk about the hot pink ribbon against the bridesmaid’s cornflour dresses?!) and the music was just *chefs kiss*! Their friends provided musical contributions to the ceremony and in the afternoon after dinner King Brasstards surprised guests and everyone danced away the afternoon on the lawn… and of course, the bouncy castle…. A triumph!
I absolutely adored Frankie and Rob’s Old Cow Shed wedding and I can’t wait to be back their later this summer.
Frankie + Rob’s brilliant Old Cow Shed wedding happened with the help of the following suppliers…
Venue The Old Cow Shed / HMUA Bridal Groom / Dress Catherine Deane from Brides Do Good / Flowers Great British Florist + Flower confetti
Cake Lola’s Cupcakes / Groom True Clothing / Bridesmaids ASOS / Caterer Thomas the Caterer + The Italian Stallion / Entertainment King Brasstards + DJ Wedding Disco
