Grange-over-Sands is a picturesque town situated on the northwestern coast of Morecambe Bay in Cumbria at the southern end of the Lake District National Park and boasts stunning panoramic views of the bay. It is a great location for capturing family photographs as it offers a blend of rugged natural landscapes and historic charm and has lots of gorgeous spots which are easily accessible for little legs and prams! The Promenade is a brilliant starting point for photographs, with sweeping views across the bay, and of course it’s only a short hop into the Lakes. It was my first visit to Grange-over-Sands for family photography and it did not disappoint!

One of the best bits about my job is seeing how my couples’ families grow after their weddings, so it was a real joy to catch up with Gemma and Ian while they were on holiday in Grange-over-Sands with Ian’s parents and their baby boy. We managed to catch a couple of sunny hours out and about, nipping out to Humphrey Head before heading back to the promenade and then to their holiday accommodation for a few photographs with the grandparents.
