As the owner of three dogs myself, I really understand why my couples want to have their dogs at their wedding (although mine couldn’t be trusted so had a lovely holiday while we got married!!) and I always joke that couples bringing their dogs could well end up with more photographs of their furry friends than of themselves.

Hannah and Tom chose an intimate dog friendly Cragwood wedding here in the Lake District, with just their parents and their gorgeous dog Brontë in attendance. At Cragwood, dogs are just as welcome as humans and Brontë was able to be with Hannah and Tom in their room while they got ready before taking a front row seat in the library for the ceremony and mingle during the drinks reception. As Brontë can be a bit of a squirrel chaser, Hannah and Tom opted to get married inside but of course, getting married outside at Cragwood is always an option too, either on the lawn or down at the lakeside for smaller weddings.

Brontë had her own outfit for the wedding too of course, a fabulous collar and matching lead from Wyld Cub.

Congratulations Hannah & Tom, I adored my short time with you (and Brontë).
