BROOD | Family Morkus

Family-photography, Photography

I don’t blog anywhere near enough of my family work, but this family shoot has been sitting in the queue for a few months now and it must as MUST to share. Old timers might recognise these faces as it’s not the first time they’ve been on my blog. Rhi + John ended up being my regular test subjects when I was teaching myself how to use my camera back in 2012 and they were expecting L… Since then I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve documented their growing family – not just them (of course E has joined them since) but also their extended family, most recently the arrival of their niece in the summer.

They seem to always score lucky with good weather and amazing light, but the most wonderful thing about my relationship with Family Morkus is the level of trust they have built in me over the last seven years… So when I say we’re starting in the garage blocks, they just nod their heads and go with it… BECAUSE LOOK AT THE COLOURS AND THE LIGHT!

Here’s a few of my favourites from last autumn, hanging around their neighbourhood in South East London.
