My editing screen has been filled with gorgeous winter weddings for the fast few weeks, which is no bad thing, but it was definitely time to hop back to August… When I realised I hadn’t yet mused upon this wonderful day at Barton Hall in Kettering, the wedding of Jackie and Darren, I was pretty excited to go back through their pictures!

Anyone will tell you I’m a sentimental sausage at the best of times but my word should I have used waterproof mascara for this one… Jackie and Darren have such a lovely love story and I adored everything about their day so much: a super emotional ceremony in the Orangery, magic tricks on tap, all inclusive speeches and a surprise dance flash mob from the youngest guests that left everyone with their jaws on the floor… Jackie and Darren are two of the kindest people I have ever met; genuine salt of the earth kind of people who think of absolutely everyone around them in everything I do, and you could totally feel the warmth and happiness in the room allll day… Happy tears, embraces, belly laughs and faces that couldn’t fathom the magic tricks. If there was a wedding for badass candid photographs, this was it!

Make tea, snuggle up, feel the love. Jackie and Darren, I’m so glad you emailed me thinking I was someone else… How well did that work out?
